Port Augusta to Home

Hi after we said goodbye to the Ferraris in Port Augusta we headed for Mildura in Victoria.

We arrived late in the afternoon and it was pouring with rain but lucky it stopped in time for us to set up camp. There was a big Country music festival going on so in the morning we checked out the Bootscootin music and then headed to Wentworth where the Darling river meets the Murray you could see where the two rivers met up they were different colours!

Here we are at the observation tower it was really cold and windy!

We had some lunch in Wentwoth and found a place that hires sandboards so we hired one and headed out to the dunes to have some fun....

Me having a go.....

Sam having a go....

And Dad, there was a fair bit of cartwheeling after this picture was taken!!

Even Mum had a go with a little help from me....

Angus wasn't keen to try the board but found his own thing to slide down on .....

We hit the road early the next morning and drove all day and set up for our last night in the van in Condobolin.

Our last set up... we were excited to be seeing everyone at home but were a bit sad it was our last night. Here we are with the Boab tree we bought in Broome.
We called into "Yarran Springs" the next day and had a really nice lunch with the Bakers it was great to see them and then we headed for home!
Nearly there......

Well here we are after 16 700kms and 8 weeks of seeing heaps of great places and amazing things and meeting some really nice people we are finally back at "Maroondah". We all feel so lucky to have done a such a fantastic trip. Thank you for reading our blog and we hope you liked our photos and videos. Who knows maybe one day we will do it all again.... Mum says stay tuned.....Dad says we will wait and see!!
